Chicken Tikka Masala
Chicken simmered in a delicious, slightly spicy sauce filled with tomatoes and spices.

boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces

butter

garlic, minced

grated ginger

sweet paprika

turmeric

crushed red pepper

ground black pepper

can diced tomatoes

can tomato sauce

sugar

Instructions
Cook the chicken in a Dutch oven (at least 3 quarts), adding a little oil or butter if it gets dry during cooking.
Add the butter, garlic and ginger and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add all of the spices and cook 1 minute, stirring frequently.
Add the tomatoes, sugar and salt and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Salt to taste.
