Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

A delicious and healthier take on traditional oatmeal cookies with extra cinnamon.

Servings: 30 cookies
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Cream the butter and sugar.
  2. Mix in the rest of the wet ingredients.
  3. Mix in the rest of the ingredients except the oats and chocolate chips.
  4. Stir in the oats and chips.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes or until the tops are light brown.
